- Extreme flexibility and stability
- Modularity
- Ergonomic working conditions
- Innovative transfer concept
The modular system of the operating table includes a column, manual control, a convenient transporter and a variety of tabletop modules and accessories. Surgical staff can adapt the table to each operation and patient by simply replacing a few modules.
With tilt angles up to 80° and tilt angles up to 45°, which can also be combined, the Maquet Magnus offers extraordinary positioning possibilities. In addition to this, a lift range of 535 to 1,235 mm (21 to 48.6 inches) with a fixed column completed the offerings and benefits for an ergonomic desktop.
Also, the Maquet Magnus range includes carbon fiber worktops that are ideal for a hybrid operating room. These plates are made of a radio-transparent carbon fiber composite material that allows for 360° rotation without metal elements that could affect the image. Available collaboration interfaces with popular imaging partners ensure perfect synchronization with imaging equipment. Synchronized movements of the X-ray equipment and the Maquet Magnus improve the results of X-ray studies by maintaining the isocenter.
The Maquet Magnus supports a patient weight of up to 250 kg, and in certain circumstances even up to 380 kg (838 lbs).
Innovative transfer concept
Thanks to the battery-powered transporter, the patient can be positioned for treatment in the induction area on the operating table and transferred directly to the operating room.
Maquet Magnus tables can be easily removed from their columns for transport throughout the surgical area. The worktop can be adjusted even after it has been moved to the conveyor. This allows the patient to be transported throughout the surgical area in the initial position without the need to completely change his position in the operating room, which saves time and allows the preparation of the next patient to begin earlier.
