It has a sturdy frame and room for a spine board or stretcher. The ramp of the device is made of stainless steel and equipped with 2 gas springs - 1 each. on each side to ensure stability and smooth operation of the ramp section. Newer models feature a locking mechanism inside the scoop stretcher/spine tray to prevent possible rocking.
