The SYNCHRONY ST cochlear implant system combines a number of effective technologies that provide the user with the most natural hearing possible. You will be dealing with an audio processor every day, but in fact, the implantable part is more important.

Specifics

The SYNCHRONY ST system implements the Triformance concept. It is a combination of three MED-EL technologies that work together to provide the most natural auditory perception in any acoustic situation.

• Complete Cochlear Coverage

Stimulation of the cochlea from the base to the apical area provides users with the perception of the full range of sounds for natural auditory perception. Only long flexible electrode gratings, which allow to preserve fine anatomical structures, can be introduced into the snail completely, which allows to achieve stimulation along the entire length of the snail for optimal auditory results.

• Structure Preservation

FLEX electrode gratings, specially designed to preserve the delicate structures of the snail, are the most atraumatic of the available electrode gratings.
The unique FLEX electrode grilles, designed so that they do not deviate into other snail ladders and are ideal for installation through both a round window and a cochleostomy, are recommended for safe full insertion into the snail, providing a future in the world of sounds.

• FineHearing ™

This is the only audio coding technology that provides a more detailed perception of sound at all frequencies, including low bass tones.
Users of our cochlear implants perceive sound more fully and clearly due to the fact that FineHearing technology provides precise control over important acoustic information in both quiet and noisy environments.
